Our Town
1961
This was the first film to be made by the society shortly after its formation. lt features many aspects of the Bury scene now long gone, including several major industries, the old domed market hall, ‘Blind Ernie’ at the corner of Kay Gardens and, of course, the Whitsuntide Walks.
