Meet Us at the Mosses

2003

After over twenty five years under the wing of the local authority the Mosses Youth and Community Centre in Bury became an independent being. This film attempts to show the great variety of activities which take place at the Centre, which caters for all ages, from eight to eighty; computer groups to olde-time dancing. Peter Firth, the Centre’s director, tells of the appeal the Centre has to all its users, from quiet evenings with playing cards to the lively, ear bending noise of the youth clubs.
