Taking the river Irwell as the natural link between the six towns of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury the film takes a journey to the communities of Ramsbottom, Tottington, Bury, Radcliffe, Whitefield and Prestwich to discover how much has changed and how much remains of their traditions and identity.
