Cameras set on autoexposure which will read the 64T notch correctly, expose the new film as 64ASA, and therefore need no adjustment, include:

Canon 512XL Electronic, 518 Auto Zoom, 814E, 1014E, 814 XL-S, 1014 XL-S and 814 Autozoom

Chinon 872 power zoom and Pacific 310

Cosina DL-80P

Elmo Super 106 and 110 GAF 735, 738, ST and 802

Leicina Super and RT-1

All Nikons

All Minolta Autopaks

Nizos Sound and Silent (but not Compact series)

Yashica Super Electro 800

Zeiss Ikon S8, MS8, 808, 811 and GS8

Cameras set on manual exposure - user sets film speed at 64ASA - so no further adjustment necessary:

Beaulieu 2008, 3008, 4008, 5008, 6008, 7008 and 9008

Leicina Special

Lomo 215

Cameras which will misread the notch as 40ASA and should then be set to manual adjustment and the aperture set to be 2/3 stop less than the 40ASA reading:

Bauer S7lSXL and S709XL

Beaulieu 1008 XL

Chinon 200 and 8 XL Pacific

Cosina DL-40P and DL-60P

Elmo 1012S-XL and 612S-XL

Minolta XL-401 and XL-601

Nizo Compact series 136, 148 and others

Sankyo ES 66-xl, ES 44-xl and others

Cameras which will misread the notch as 40ASA, requiring manual exposure compensation by adjusting the exposure dial by minus 2/3 stop:

GAF 505 XLM

Cameras having Exposure Lock on internal light meter, which will misread the notch as 40ASA. Point the camera at any object which will give a reading of 2/3 stop less open than that given on the required object, then press exposure lock button:

Bolex 160 and 350 Macro Compact

Cameras having Exposure Lock on internal light meter, which cannot see the notch and think it is 160ASA:

Canon 514XL and 514XL-S - Point camera at any object to make aperture 1-1/3 stops more open than the required exposure, then press exposure lock button.

Bolex 350 Macro Compact on manual control - Adjust manual exposure dial by +1 stop. This is the nearest exposure available (80ASA) and will slightly underexpose the film.

Cameras misreading the notch as 40ASA and requiring 0.2ND filter on the lens (thus giving the required minus 2/3 stop compensation to expose the film as the correct 64ASA):

Kodak M2 and M22 (manual exposure)

Agfa Microflex series (no controls)

Canon AF3l0XL and .AF3l0XL-S (no controls)

Eumig Mini 5

Kodak XL series (external light meters)

Canon 310XL (external light meter)

Eumig Nautica (external light meter)
