Birtle on Film
This is a new DVD on our list and is a programme of films which was presented at the Lord Raglan Hotel at Nangreaves in February 2011. The films show mostly the former industrial aspect of this ancient country, Birtle and the Cheesden Valley, with other references to Grants Tower, Peel Tower and Turton Tower, together with some archive still pictures of Nangreaves and Buckhurst.
